2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
It begins with a brooding nose of blue and black fruits. Deep aromas of wilted violets with blackcurrant, plum, blackberry, blueberry and black cherry lead into underlying whiffs of turned soil and oak with mineral accents.
It has brighter flavors than the nose suggests, with juicy red and black cherry, currants, juicy plum and ripe blackberry flavors over a streak of toast and hints of vanilla cola. Grounded notes of earth underlie juicy, luscious fruit on this beautiful 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our vineyard in the "sweet spot" of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley.

93 points- "redolent of graphite, inky blue fruit, scorched earth, lavender, cloves, menthol and licorice. This potent, layered Cabernet Sauvignon is impeccably done." - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
92 points- "Broody notions of crushed rocks, damp soil, and sauteed herbs soon give way to a core of crushed blackcurrants, fresh blackberries, and black raspberries plus a hint of tar. The medium to full-bodied palate has bright, breezy black berry and savory flavors with a lively line and approachable, grainy tannins, finishing earthy." Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent
"sports a vivid purple hue as well as a juicy, attractive array of blue fruits, crushed stone, leafy herbs, and underbrush, with some violet and floral notes emerging with time in the glass. It's medium to full-bodied, has juicy acidity, good balance, and plenty of length on the finish. It's well-made and borderline outstanding." -Jeb Dunnuck
