2017 Howl
This blend changes a little each year. This vintage tasted best with 69% Syrah, 26% Cab and 5% Merlot. It delivers the juiciness of Syrah, the structure of Cabernet and the silkiness of Merlot on the long finish. When giving it 92 points, World Wine Championship praised its "aromas of cassis tart, fresh peach, white flowers and vanilla pod", with flavors that are "velvety and fruity." They concluded that the 2017 Howl is a "finely constructed Napa red." We agree.
